Sought-After Languedoc Terroirs
Dear friends,

Languedoc in the South of France is a winemakers' paradise with a variety of sought-after terroirs or areas where growing vines is optimal. These areas benefit from a dry and sunny climate and in some places quite cool too providing the best grapes ripeness.

And the two estates we are presenting today are located on those sought-after plots: Borie la Vitarelle in Saint Chinian and Château la Roque in Pic-Saint-Loup. Thanks to the geography but not only ! These winemakers are some of the best in Languedoc. As a result the wines are fruity with tons of freshness and balances which rival the greatest wines!

Please stop by to try them at the shop where other new products await!

See you soon.

Château la Roque à Pic-Saint-Loup
Château la Roque is a 32 hectares estate on the Pic Saint Loup appellation and originates from the XIIIth century. All the wines have been enjoying both organic and biodynamic (Demeter) certifications since the 2011 harvest. The red grapes represent 80% of the vines with average age of more than 30 years and the first vines planted in 1957. For the white, the average age of the vines is 20 years with first plantings happening in 1985. The vineyards benefit from a South/South-Est exposure. The wines were showing very well during our last tasting with nice fruit intensity and freshness.
